AC Mitigation Installation Projects – Beaufort
Installation of approximately 34,745′ of Zinc Ribbon Cable and 73SSD’s within existing ROW in 49 different locations along DESC’s 8″ pipeline that runs within a 23-mile section.
AC Mitigation Installation Projects – Bluffton
Installation of approximately 19,580′ of Zinc Ribbon cable and 31 SSD’s within existing ROW in 15 different locations along DESC’s 4″ and 6″ pipelines located in Bluffton, SC.
AC Mitigation Installation Projects – Columbia North
Installation of approximately 6,029′ of Zinc Ribbon cable, 11 SSD’s, and 62 Ground Rods within existing ROW in 10 different locations along DESC’s 10″ & 12″ pipelines located in Columbia, SC.
Holly Springs HDD Project
Aid Benton Georgia by providing an IR Crew, Tie In support to the proposed 1436′ 12″ HDD and open cut lay approximately 1082′ of 12″ steel pipe along Holly Springs Rd within DOT ROW, hydro test, and tie in all located in Holly Springs, NC.
Old Battle Creek Bridge Rd HDD Crossing Project
Install approximately 1133′ of 8″ steel and a 50′ x 50′ station site at the end of the proposed work that looks to be installed within a new subdivision located off Old Tarboro Rd & Old Battle Bridge Rd in Wendell, NC. Stopple fittings to tie in will be installed.
Richtex Project
6610′ of 12″ .312 wall X52 FBE coated steel, 5617′ of 6″ .250 wall X52 FBE coated steel, and 381′ of 10″ located in Richland County, SC. The project is made up of (3) 6″ conventional road bores, and (1) Creek crossing HDD 950′.
12″ Hagood Project
Install approx. 1180′ of 16″ steel & approx. 1400′ of 12″ steel adjacent to Azalea Dr. in North Charleston, SC. The project has (2) Tier 3 HDD crossings under the marshes of Brickyard Creek. Work is within the existing DESC ROW, and all permits will be in hand before the start date. The 16″ existing concrete abutment structures will stay in place, however, the 16″ pipe should be removed and disposed of. Complete 12/4/22
NC751 Phase 2B Project
8.25 miles (43,545′) of 12″ .281 wall X60 FBE coated steel pipe located in Wake & Chatham counties. Project is made up of (27) conventional road bores, (4) HDDs… (705′) Mt Pisgah Church Rd HDD, (810′) Creek Crossing – Yates Store Rd HDD, (2020′) Nancy Branch Rd HDD, and (713′) Creek Crossing- Green Level Church Rd HDD.
6″ Leesburg Rd Project
Started 7/11/22 – This consists of approximately 8630′ of 6″ steel we will have to relocate within the DOT ROW located in Columbia, SC for DESC’s distribution group which includes (8) Jack bores and (1) 6″ HDD under Mill Creek as part of the relocation. There will be multiple 2″ and or 3/4″ steel to-plastic service lines coming off the 6″ main that we will have to complete.
Hwy 751 New Hope Valley RR Bore Project
Project included (1) 12″ .375 wall Rock 950′ HDD under Railroad & Fabrication of a 12″ Receiver Station located in Wake County.
NC751 Phase 2A Project
5.4 miles (28,500′) of 12″ .280 wall X60 FBE coated steel pipe located in Wake & Chatham county. Project is made up of (8) conventional road bores, (1) foreign pipeline crossing, and (1) 2549′ HDD under the Jordan River.
Van Wyck Pipeline Project
4.2 miles (22,268′) of 12″.281 X60 mainline pipe & 12″ .375 wall bore pipe. The project consists of (4) conventional road bores located near Van Wyck, SC
M64 Phase 2C Project
6.2 miles (32,736′) of 12″ .375 wall pipe located near Forest City/Marion, NC which included (1) Rock HDD totaling 600′ and (2) Conventional bores totaling 114′, which ran consecutively with M64 Phases 2A, 2B, and 2C which consisted of shoulder work within NCDOT ROW.
M64 Phase 3 Project
6.7 miles (35,376′) of 12″ .375 wall pipe located near Forest City/Marion, NC which included a few open cut streams, (6) Rock HDD’s totaling 7621′, and (5) Conventional bores totaling 311′, which ran consecutively with M64 Phases 2A, 2B, and 2C which consisted of shoulder work within NCDOT ROW.
M64 Phase 2B Project
12 miles (63,000′) of 12″ .375 wall pipe located near Forest City/Marion, NC which included (13) Rock HDD’s totaling 15,349′, and (2) Conventional bores totaling 200′, which ran consecutively with M64 Phases 2A, 2B, and 2C which consisted of shoulder work within NCDOT ROW.
T‐33 Bent Creek and Oak Terrace Project
1220′ of 8″ & 2150′ of 12″ .281 wall steel including (1) 1205′ 12″ HDD located in Asheville, NC.
I‐40 6″ HDD Project
(1100’) 6″ .219 wall steel HDD under I‐40 and tie-in to exiting line located in Rutherford & McDowell County.
T‐18B Phase 2B Project
2.4 miles (12,745′) of 8″ steel which includes (2) Conventional Bores totaling 409′ located in Statesville, NC in Iredell County.
Pottsville Phase 2 Project
Install 2.15 miles (11,378′) of 8″ .322 mainline steel & 1 new Meter Station. Project consists of (1) 982′ 8″ .500 wall HDD. Abandon in place approximately 10,498′ of 10″ pipe and remove and dispose of existing meter station piping located in Pottsville, AR
Brights Creek Mountain Slip Repair Project
1200′ of 12″ Take‐up & Relay in same ditch line on Brights Creek Mountain due to slip of existing line. Additional slope stabilization done during installation of new section.
M64 Phase 2A Project
6.17 miles (32,557′) of 12″ .375 wall pipe located near Forest City/Marion, NC which included (4) Rock HDD’s totaling 2824′, which ran consecutively with M64 Phases 2A, 2B, and 2C which consisted of shoulder work within NCDOT ROW.
Hwy 378 Phase 2 & South Conway Phase 2A Project
7.5 miles (39,369′) of 12″ .250 wall pipe located near Conway, SC which included (6) Dirt HDD’s totaling 6197′ and (11) Conventional bores totaling 1022′.
Cliffside Lateral Project
6.9 miles (36,276′) of 16″ .375 wall pipe located near Cliffside, NC which included (3) Rock HDD’s totaling 5885′ and (5) Conventional bores totaling 300′ which ran into the Duke Energy Cliffside Power Plant where we tied this line into the T-001A line.
T-021 Retrofit Phase 2 Project
3.6 miles (18,961′) of 12″ .281 wall FBE coated steel pipe including (2) HDD’s totaling 1391′ and (4) Conventional bores located in Cary, NC.
T‐001A Phase 3 Project
2.6 miles (14,000′) of new 20″ steel transmission line installed near Forest City, NC.
Estes Drive Project
2.2 miles (11,500′) of 10″ steel
Clinch River Project
6 miles of 16″ .375 wall X60 steel new transmission line installed including (2) HDD’s totaling 1718′ located in Russell County, VA.
T-72 Pipeline Project
10.7 miles (56,481′) of 12″ .281 wall X60 FBE coated steel pipe located in Buncombe County, NC. Project is made up of (11) conventional road bores, (9) HDDs….(1740′) French Broad River #1 HDD, (1625′) French Broad River #2 HDD, (1955′) Blue Ridge Parkway HDD, (2177′) French Broad River #3 HDD, (1830′) Brevard Rd #2 HDD, (1015′) Brevard Rd #2 HDD, (955′) Hominy Creek #1 HDD, (1863′) Hominy Creek #2 HDD, and (1863′) Hominy Creek #3 HDD.
Line 6 Phase 1 Project
32 miles (168,900’) of a new 16″ transmission and an 8″ transmission lateral to replace the existing lines in this corridor in a private easement. The project is the replacement of approximately 9,033 linear feet of 8” transmission lateral and 154,000 linear feet of 16” steel transmission line. There will be (11) HDDs, (5) launcher/receiver vessels, (7) regulator stations, (7) demolitions, (1) city gate, (4) main line valves, and (24) access roads.
Line J Meter Station Project
Installation of a two (2) 24” Black Hawk Line Stopple Fitting with 16-inch side outlets and related fittings; ii). install two (2) 16” Ball Valves and approximately 200-feet of 16-inch pipeline by-pass piping (temporary) connecting the two (2) 24-inch Black Hawk Stopple Fittings as described in item i).; iii). remove the temporary 16-inch by-pass described in item ii, upon completion of the installation (in-service) of the permanent dual 8-inch regulators; iv). install two (2) 16-inch tees assemblies with two (2) 16-inch Manuel Ball Valves and related pipe to tie-in the dual 8-inch regulator station as described in item iv; v). install a 7-feet chain link with 3-strans of barbed wire fencing around the Regulator Site 100-feet x 80-feet; and vi). construct an access road and gravel the Regulator site.
